Being Denied Entry at the Norway Border

Today I’m talking with one of my best friends, Siena Muscianisi, a talented freelance photographer, filmmaker, and designer. During her gap year, Siena spent six weeks each in Paris, Costa Rica, and Stockholm, and also traveled through the Galápagos Islands and Ecuador. She later completed a two-month internship in Ireland before joining Selina’s Film Residency Program in Morocco. Recently, she exchanged her skills for a two-month stay at a hostel in the Lofoten Islands. Now, she’s focused on building her portfolio in the cycling industry, collaborating with brands like USA Cycling and Mad Gravel.

In this episode, Siena discusses the challenges of solo travel, overcoming fears, and how these experiences pushed her out of her comfort zone and fostered personal and professional growth. She shares stories of being denied entry at the Norway border, her love for Irish culture, seeing the Northern Lights, and lessons from spontaneous trips and freelancing around the world! Let’s get started!
